Atlanta Mediation Attorney
The founding partners of Kaye, Lembeck, Hitt & French Family Law – Amy Kaye, Alyson Lembeck, Elinor Hitt and Brooke French, are all trained as mediators. Specifically, each one has completed over 100 hours of mediation training to mediate both civil cases and family law cases. The founding partners attained their mediation certification because they believe in the mediation process – particularly as it relates to family law cases. Resolution outside of court has myriad advantages and the Atlanta family mediation attorneys of Kaye, Lembeck, Hitt & French are available to serve as your mediator.
We believe in solution-based advocacy. While every case is different and encompasses issues that are unique to the parties, almost all cases will be referred to mediation for resolution. Georgia courts believe that the mediation process leads to more a positive outcome because the parties have some control over the important issues that impact their futures. Moreover, the parties are more likely to adhere to the terms of the final order after working them out through mediation. Plus, an amicable process can result in less animosity between parents who will continue to co-parent after the conclusion of the case.
Selecting the right mediator for your case is paramount to the resolution of your matter. While mediators do not provide legal advice, we are well-versed in family law as we have nearly 100 years of combined experience. We have cases in metropolitan Atlanta as well as many outlying counties, which makes us familiar with many of the jurisdictions in which your case may be pending. We all have children of varying ages and are all certified as guardians ad litem, which provides and additional layer of understanding for mediating your case.
